The process
Request, review, build, Staging review, then launch.
Request
Describe how the business works and configure the app you want. You see price as you go. Submitting is a request for Castillo review, not a contract.
Review
Castillo reviews fit, scope, and price before any offer. Not every idea is accepted. No signing or payment happens at this step.
Build
If you approve a written offer and complete the required agreement and initial payment, Castillo builds the application against that approved scope.
Staging review
You review the working app in Staging. A Castillo review URL is available during that review period. Castillo does not promise perpetual free hosting or hostname availability beyond the contracted service. Three included revision rounds follow the agreement. Change Orders are approved before extra work starts.
Launch
Production launch happens only after the release is certified and Castillo authorizes that exact release. Third-party store approval is not guaranteed.
After launch and payoff, you choose Castillo Care or the standard handoff. The full path is on How It Works.

Apple + Google also includes store packaging, standard store assets, submission preparation, testing releases, and reasonable assistance through the initial store review.

Know what to expect.
Is submitting a request a contract?
No. A request is not a contract, not an approval, not permission to charge, and not a delivery date. Castillo reviews every request before any offer.
Does Castillo promise business success or income?
No. Castillo does not promise business success or that an app will produce income. Castillo builds custom software. Commercial results depend on the business.
Does Castillo accept every idea?
No. Castillo is built for operational small businesses. Complex marketplaces, wallets, escrow, lending, and similar high-risk products are reviewed separately or declined.
Is Apple or Google store approval guaranteed?
No. Third-party store approval is not guaranteed. Apple + Google pricing covers packaging, testing, submission, and release management — not a store decision.
How many revision rounds are included?
Three client revision rounds are included, under the in-scope and out-of-scope rules in the agreement. Extra work is a Change Order.
What happens after development is paid in full?
You can keep Castillo running the app through Castillo Care, or take the standard post-payoff handoff at no extra charge. Care is $51.35 / month for Web/PWA and $96.85 / month for Apple + Google. Voluntary Care cancellation takes 30 days’ notice. Care is not mandatory forever.
Can I pay the remaining development balance early?
Yes. You may pay the remaining development balance early without a penalty.
What if a development payment fails?
The grace period is seven calendar days, with notice and reminders before suspension if the payment remains unresolved.
How long is project data kept after a cancellation?
Applicable suspended or cancelled project data receives 90 calendar days of guaranteed retention before it becomes eligible for permanent deletion. Restoration is not guaranteed after permanent deletion.
What is the payment platform fee?
If you add customer payments, setup is $99.00. Castillo’s platform service fee is 1.5% of Qualifying Payments, capped at $799 per billing month. Processor fees are separate. The planned five-year duration and the exact definitions of Qualifying Payments remain under legal review. They are not final contract language and have not received legal approval.
